auto suggest of email addresses is gone after install Office 2003

Hi,

I upgraded from office XP to Office 2003 Professional
Beta version on my XP Prof. workstation. Ever since I
did that the auto suggest address names in the TO, CC and
BCC fields of Outlook do not work anymore. Switching the
options on and off in the options/preferences/email
options/advanced email options does not make any
difference.

My colleage has the exact same installation (except maybe
he upgraded from a slighly different version of Office XP
Prof.) The feature works perfectly on his PC.

Any ideas?

You may have wiped out your NK2 file - once you type in a few addresses, it
will start to autoresolve again. The autoresolve feature pulls names from
the NK2 file, not the contacts folder.
