I have looked and haven't found an answer to my question. I will be typing along and all of a sudden a yellow word suggestion will pop up. For example, I will type "Jor..." and the yellow pop up says "Jordan Smith" It is annoying at times. My question is, how can I edit what pops up and what doesn't? I would like to delete some words. I went into Auto Text and couldn't find the words. Please help. Thanks.

What you're seeing are AutoComplete Tips being offered based on entries in
your Office Address Book stored in the Entourage database. You cannot edit
the Contacts in Word. You have to go into Entourage & edit the Contact
Record which is the source of the tip.

If you want to turn the tips off altogether you were headed in the right
direction. In Tools> AutoCorrect - AutoText you can check the box to
"Exclude Contacts" or clear the check on "Show AutoComplete tip...".
