Auto Text problem everytime Word starts

Dex

I am experiencing a problem with Word and what I believe
may be Auto Text or text recovery. Everytime I start a
blank worksheet in Word I get several lines of a past
letter I typed showing up. The letter was never saved
and was deleted. I have checked the 'normal' template
which it uses and it is fine, no text on it. However,
when I open Word I get the same few lines of text each
and every time. It is also doing it to e-mails now as I
use Word as the e-mail editor and it's becoming very
annoying. Does anyone know what can be causing this???
Any help will be much appreciated.

Dex,

Check to see what template is attached to your document.
Go to....

Tools | Templates and Add-ins: and note the template
attached to the document giving you the problem. If you
have text in a new document it means that the text is
contained within that template. If it turns out that it is
in fact contained in the normal template, be sure you are
not looking at a duplicate template.

Cheers Jesse,

Thanks to your help I have now corrected the problem. I
obviously was opening the wrong 'normal' file, Doh!

Many many thanks,

Dex
