Auto update Error! NOTE: Your system settings prohibit

All of a sudden my system is giving me this error when trying to update my
office software! this is a Home based PC not a Company PC -- Does anyone know
whats happened?

Assuming that you are running Windows 2000 or Windows XP...

Are you logged in as the user "Administrator" or does the user in which you are currently logged in as have
administrator rights?
