I am using Word 2003 and have a question regarding how to update the width of
WordArt when I change the text. Here is the scenario: I added WordArt stating
"New message" in Verdana 8pt font. The character spacing is set to Normal,
the text alignment is Center, and the Lock Aspect Ration box is clear. When I
edit the text to read "New warning message", the height and width remain the
same with the result that the characters are the same height as the before
but are are smaller in width to fit inside the same space. Is there a way to
have the width of a WordArt item be automatically updated when the text is
changed? Put another way, is there a way to keep the exact same character
height and width when new text is added?
