Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to perform an auto
backup every, let's say, 20 sec with access XP?

Not really, no. It's not safe to copy an MDB while it is in use. If someone
is writing to the MDB at the same time as it is being copied, the copy may
be corrupted. FMS (www.fmsinc.com) have an app called Total Visual Agent
which, among other things, can export data on a scheduled basis. I suspect
that it is very unlikely that exporting as frequently as 20 seconds would be
practical, however. 20 minutes would probably be more realistic, depending
of course on how intensively the database was used.
