Auto updated graphics

I've got several graphics that gets updated frequently due to our client's
requested changes. I have embeded these graphics as part of a document. The
issue I have is that when the graphic is updated, I would have to go back
into word and delete the old graphic and then insert new picture. This is
very time consuming. is there a way to updated these graphic files
automatcially?

I've tried insert --> object, but all it gives me is an icon even though I
didn't select the "display as an icon" option. I need the graphics to show
when it is printed or viewed on the screen without further interaction from
the user.

I am using office 2007 and the graphics format I was trying to insert is a
PNG file.

On the Insert Tab use Picture, not Object. Specify the Link option in order
to embed the image & connect to it so that updates are possible without
having to re-insert. You might want to review Word Help on inserting
pictures.
