auto updates for office 2003 XPsp2 thinks I am a MAC

every time I try to use the auto updates for office 2003 I get the this
message:

Sorry, the Office Update site does not support Office for Mac
updates can be found on the Mactopia site.

Probably a problem with your firewall software. See

You were very close. What I did was added a second firewal (Sygate) and I
must not have been paying attention because the problem turned out to be the
firewall rules on the Sygate firewall. and I was blocking some of my traffic.
I turned off Sygate and ran the update and it worked so I uninstalled sygate
and reinstalled it and then made sure all of the rules for by office products
were set to allow.
