AutoCad compatibility

I am sure this question has been asked but,

I am using Visio for electrical schematics, basic shapes +
text. Is there any compatibility with AutoCad Lite
products? Can you save a drawing in autocad and have it be
really compatible. Is there a download that can make this
happen?

Visio can import and export to and from AutoCAD, but the results are not
100% identical. Discrepancies occur with text, tables and dimensions.
Depending on your expectations, though, it may work very well.
