Autocad conversions (Visio 2000)

I am trying to convert an AutoCad drawing in the standard
Visio 2000 program. All I get is a viewable inserted
picture. I want to be able to manipulate the items in
the imported drawing. Is the conversion to a Visio
drawing not included in this version (Standard 2000)?
Which version do I need to get if I want to do this?

Brian,

First, you will probably note that your CAD drawing (in
Visio) is locked. To remove go to Format/Protection and
click None.

Then you need to convert the CAD drawing objects.

Go to Edit/Cad Drawing Objects (all the way at the bottom
of the drop down Edit menu) and select convert.
