We have older and new AUTOCAD drawings that are currently imported into Word
97 documents. Looks to be as "floating drawings". If I open the word 97 docs
with the drawings in Word 97 or any Office 97 program..The drawings open fine
and print fine. If I open the word 97 docs in Word 2003 or Word XP, some of
the drawings do not show or print correctly. It is skewed/stretched within
the picture placeholder. Why are these docs not completely compatible from
Word 97 to Word 2003 or XP??? I have found that AutoCAD filters/converters
are installed with Office 97, but is not installed with the Office 2003
converter tool kit and can no longer be obtained. We do not upgrade from
Office 97 to Office 2003..Office 2003 completely uninstalls Office 97 so the
converters are not retained when we upgrade...Is there a seperate autoCAD
converter I can obtain or can you please provide me with the older office
2000 or xp resource kit so I can install the autocad converters?.. thx.
