Autocomplete on Outlook 2003

GGRRR this is getting silly now!!!

I've got a user who's having constant issues with the autocomplete
feature on OL2003.

He's been using OL for some time now, and every so often email address
that he's sent to several times before doesn't appear when OL suggests
names while he's composing an email. After doing a little reading up on
this
issue. I've done the following. I've renamed the nk2 file in his
windows profile
(C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook).

When firing up OL again the new nk2 file is created and this will work
for a day or 2 then names start going missing from the drop down menu.
I've recreated his outlook profile and a brand new nk2 file was created
which he'll have to populate again but after a few days some of those
address will go awol again.

I've reinstalled OL2003 again no joy.
I've reinstalled Office.. still no joy.
I've deleted his windows profile uninstalled and reinstalled office
patched it with everything MS has to offer...still no joy.
I've even nuked his pc and reinstalled everything from scratch.....
still no joy.

Are you using logon scripts or roaming profiles? If so, did you try a
completely new Outlook profile? When deleting the nk2 doesn't help, it
generally means a corrupt profile... uninstalling and reinstalling is mostly
a waste of time BTW - detect and repair is faster and has the same effect.
