I am trying to turn "on" the AutoComplete feature. Even
after checking the checkbox under AutoText, it will not
work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have the same problem. Reinstallings does not work so don't waste your time
doing that.

Have you checked the following? If not, your auto complete functions won't
work.
On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options.
To show or hide the AutoCorrect Options buttons, select or clear the Show
AutoCorrect Options buttons check box.

Can you give us an example of what you are typing and what you are
trying to complete?

Note you must type a minimum of four characters in order to display
the AutoComplete tip. In order to type the minimum characters the
first four characters of the AutoText entry must be unique. If the
first four characters are not unique then you need to type the first
unique character in order for the AutoComplete tip to display.

For example in the built-in entries you'll find "Best regards," and
"Best wishes,". In order to display the AutoComplete for "Best
wishes," you must type "Best w".
