Again, possibly a corrupt template. AutoText is stored in templates,
normal.dot by default.
I keep no AutoText in normal.dot, by preference. All of my AutoText
is in one or more custom global templates. See

customizations including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments,
toolbars, macros, etc.

I misspoke. It is AutoText entries that got corrupted with junk
text.
