I can no longer back up my autocorrect entries, and it seems some file may be
corrupted. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this and fix it. I really don't
want to re-enter 4000 autocorrect entries manually.
I notice when I go in to add a new entry, sometimes there are two for one.
Sometimes I see them there, and sometimes two pop up when I add a new one.
There's often a blank line or two in the display window with them, as well,
that is, instead of the usual four entries in the scroll window, there are
two identical entries and one or two blanks.
I can get autocorrect started with macros8, with a custom toolbar, with the
macros9 and with the autocorrect.dot that I downloaded from this forum, but
all produce the same result: a fraction of my autocorrect entries, ending at
about 350. It used to do more, but I pruned some out, including the really
long ones, thinking that might help. No go. Here's my previous version of
this question that was perhaps too technical. Anyway I got no help on it, but
it might have some useful information:
