AutoCorrect Log ?

I have (2) databases -- both in A2002 format and i am runing A2002.
In each, i have all (3) options for "Name AutoCorrect" selected (Tools /
Options / General). In the first db, when i change the name of a field,
AutoCorrect goes around and patches things up for me and makes an entry
in the table [Name AutoCorrectLog]. In the second db, this does no
happen. Is there something else i need to set for this to function ?
