autocorrect options

I would like to opt out of the autocorrect feature that
capitalizes the beginning of each sentence. I have
located the box to uncheck, and unchecked it. Word
continues to capitalize the first letter of sentences,
though. I have double checked the box and it remains
unchecked. But then, sometimes the sentences stay
uncapped. I can find absolutely no pattern to Word's
decision...sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't in
the same document.

Any clues?

Hi Dale,

Could this possibly be one of the there options (such as
correcting two caps, or capitalizing the first letter in a
table or day of the week)? Or could there be separate
entries for particular WORDS in the listing that are
explicitly capitalized?
