Autocorrect

I use Autocorrect to speed up my typing by creating
abbreviations. For example, "qty+" autocorrects
to "quantity", "mtg+" corrects to "meeting", etc. When
changing computers, how can I transfer the "autocorrect"
file to my new computer? I cannot locate the file which
contains this information.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Fred

Hi Fred,

The default location for storing the autocorrect
entries would be your Normal.dot template.

You can copy that template and/or use the support.dot
template to place copies of the autocorrect entries into
a Word document for transfer to another computer.
