Autocorrect.

Hi,
I am trying to set up an autocorrect facility so that
everytime I type in the word diane with or without a
capital letter, the autocorrect facility will change it to
diane in bold and always with a lower case first initial.
But if i type in diane with a capital D it does not change
it to a lower case d.
Any ideas would be extremely helpful as I have tried a lot
of different things.

Hi Diane,

AutoCorrect will preserve the case if the Replace and With characters
are the same.

You might try creating an AutoText entry as it will insert in the same
case it was created. However since the word you are using only
contains 5 characters and it takes 4 characters to display the
AutoComplete tip you may not see the AutoComplete tip. In that case
you will need to press F3 to insert it.

Otherwise you can use something other than "diane" as your replace
characters in AutoCorrect. For example replace "db" with "diane" (bold
format).
