We've been using Outlook 2007 with Exchange Server 2003 without incident for
the last 2 years. All of a sudden, out of the clear blue, we all are getting
a message that autodiscover has encountered a problem regarding a certificate
for our external website?? The problem being that the name on the
certificate and the name on our internal domain don't match. I've always
gotten this error when using remote desktop, but can ignore it and work
normally. However, this Outlook2007 error has the effect of not connecting
us to the Exchange server (even if we click Proceed) so we can't get at our
e-mail.
No settings have been changed on the server in ages so I'm not sure why this
would have cropped up suddenly. Any ideas? Any fixes?
