AutoExec

After updating Adobe Acrobat (the registered version), I now receive
the following error message every time I enter and exit Word:

Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec

Looking in Tools/Macro/Macros, I find

AdobePDFMaker.AutoExec.Main

which issues the same error message when I try to run it, but which is
protected (hidden?): the Delete and the Edit buttons are greyed-out.

Any suggestions on how I can eliminate this problem are appreciated.

Remove the Adobe dot add-in from the Word Start-up folder. Then go to Adobe
support and tell them what a load of W....rs they are and will they sort out
their add-ins for Office.

Will you think less of me if I say that I don't know where to find the
Word Start-up folder....?

Not at all. It is easy to think that 'everyone knows what you mean'. Suzanne
has given you the clue though.
