I have an employye phone directory with
First/Last/Title/Dept/Phone#/Location Fields. I can do a
search on any of the fields and have the correct
information displayed. I have a search button that will
accomplis this. However, what I would like to do is to
have a blank area on the form where one could start
inputing info (on any selected field) and have the
information displayed change. Say, I select the last
name, and start with J, the Last Name would then display
the first J in the database. If I then type "o" (Jo) then
it would display the last name of the first "Jo", etc.
How can I accomplish this?
I have an original database and form that was created in
Paradox that did just this, but the creator has passed
away and no one in our office has a clue.
