Autofill option

I have a customer database set up with all relevant information that I need. But, we have many, many repeat customers and instead of inputting their information all over again, I would like to be able to punch in their customer number and have all of their information (i.e. name, address, etc) filled in automatically. I have thought about one that also looks up the city and state from entering a zip code. I know my way around Access pretty well, but I don't know all of the terms, so if you could explain step by step like I am a 6 year old, I would appreciate it! my e mail address is (e-mail address removed) if e mail is easier for you.
