Autofill series with keyboard

How do you autofill a series of data (days of the week for example) only
using the keyboard? My clients are unable to use a mouse and would like to
use this feature in Excel.

Hi Colin
The key board shortcut to get to series fill is:
Alt E (For edit menu)
i (For Fill menu)
s (for Series menu)

Use the Tab key to navigate around the different sections then any
underlined letter indicates the keyboard shortcut.

Ctrl+R
Fill down:
Ctrl+D

For clarity, note that a selection of cells need to be active for these
shortcuts to work. I.e, to autofill B1 in range B1:B10, select B1:B10 with B1
active, then press Ctrl+D.

Please remember that Ctrl+R and Ctrl+D are only for autofill and will not
work with a series ie if cell A1 has "1" and you select A1 to A5 and Ctrl+D
each cell will contain only "1", unlike a series fill which will create "1",
"2" etc.

Hello,

Thank you for your responses.

I am looking to Autofill in Series days of the week, (Monday, Tuesday etc)
and months of the year (January, February etc) by using the keyboard.
I understand that I can enter Monday in cell a1, and Tuesday in cell a2 and
can use the Shift key to select both cells and with the right arrow key can
extend the selected cells across to as many as I like.
Is it then possible to Autofill in Series from this point without using the
mouse?

These current solutions only copy the data from cell a1.

the cells you want to autofill.
