Autofilling information in subform - Tab form issue?

I have a pretty intense form that - before I created the
tab control - would update a subform with related
information based on a value that was entered into a text
box. Since I added the tab control, the information in
the subform no longer autofills. If you go out of the
form and then back in again, the information is visible in
the subform. I think this has something to do with
tabbing through the form?

Is there a way to get the information to autofill again,
then set the next tab stop on the tab control
