Autofilter ALL freezes Excel

I have created a spreadsheet with a formula in every cell
of two complete columns.

I wish to use Autofilter to view different items in the
non-calculated fields.

When I select an item I get a good display; however when
I select ALL to revert to the original display, Excel
stops responding and I have to abort it.

Is this a known problem? Any workarounds?

a tip from Debra Dalgleish:
try turning off automatic calculationas your range seems to include
many formulas.
