Autofilter Does Nothing

Hi! This is the second time that I run into this
situation. For some strange reason, when I try to turn on
the AutoFilter function it does not give me the handy
little pull down menus, but the option is definitely
selected under the Data/Filter menu.

I use this feature all the time, and have no idea why all
of a sudden it decides not to work.

Anybody run into this one?

How about Tools>Options>View>Objects check "Show All".

Hi,
Just out of interest, you have not got your screen scrolled so that the row
with the autofilters are 'out of view'?

It's irritating.

Sometimes minimizing/maximizing the workbook's window will help.
Maybe doing the same with the application's window.
Sometimes closing and reopening helps (maybe restarting excel, too!)

Sometimes removing the filters and then reapplying helps.

Sometimes nothing helps.
