Autoformat Colors

I would like to use List 1 or List 2 Autoformats but don't like the
default colors for the rows. Is there any way to change these colors?

Choose Preferences/Color, and modify the colors that are used in the
Formats (might take a bit of playing around to get the right one(s)).

XL can display only 56 colors at a time, so if you change the color for
a border, and it is the same color as is used for a font style elsewhere
in the same workbook, the font color will change as well.

This works only for each workbook. If you want to modify the colors for
all new workbooks, create a blank workbook, modify the colors to suit,
and save it *as a template* with the name "Workbook" (no quotes, no
extension) in the Microsoft Office N:Office:Start:Excel folder, where N
= 98, 2001, or X, depending on your version. From then on, new workbooks
created with File/New will use that template to create new books.

Thanks. I did a "reset" on the Colors and List 1 is now single gray
bars and List 2 is alternating double green bars which is most of what
I was looking for.
