Hi Gary:
I think that's a corrupted Word Settings X file or a corrupted Normal
template.
Re-name both files with Word quit, then try. If you want to do a thorough
job, go into ~/Library/Microsoft and delete every file with a '10' in its
name.
If that doesn't fix it, run the Office Remover from the Office CD and then
re-install. A re-install without a remove does nothing (because a reinstall
does not replace existing files, and it's the existing files that are bad).
