I don't think it is possible to modify a a form in design mode using VBA.
And, what is a "named autoformat"? In 10 years of Access and VBA, I have not
heard that term.

Hi Klatuu,

And, what is a "named autoformat"? In 10 years of Access and VBA, I have not
heard that term.
I use a german version, so I'm not sure what the original menu
captions are. In german it is [Format]/[AutoFormat] (the first entry
of the fifth menu title) and will show a AutoFormat-dialog with a
couple of names at the left and a corresponding image in the middle.
Choosing one of the names and using the OK button will change the
design of all controls of the current form (which is in design mode).

Regards, Lorenz
