AutoKeys Macro - Startup Options

S

Simon Harris

Hi All,

I Google'd to the following:
http://www.google.co.uk/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&[email protected]

Which mentions how to disable holding of SHIFT at startup, to provide some
level of security. I have implemented this, and it works fine. At present,
the way I disable/enable holding of SHIFT is to call the function from a
form - The form is opened from an onClick event of a tiny hidden piece of
text on the main form (Ok, its not Alctraz, but it will at least stop a few
meddlers!)

Now, Frank mentions in his post about using AutoKeys Macro to provide
another way in, by specifiying my own key combination to get into the
system - This sounds like a good idea, I cant imagine the mess I'd be in if
we lost control over the DB!

So...can anyone advise how I use AutoKeys macro to do this? Where do I add
the macro? What code to use? I dont know where to start! :)

Kind Regards :)

Simon.
