"automagically" generate charts?

Does Excel provide a way to generate
charts "automatically" (formula, macro, pivot, etc), based
on row selection in a given range? And if so, how?

I have a spreadsheet with hundreds of product names in
column A, then, each month includes 4 columns of common
sales person names. I would like to be able to generate a
simple trend chart by selecting the product name in column
A.

Here's a simple example of my spreadsheet:
A B C D E F G H I
January February
Product Jim Jon Tim Tom Jim Jon Tim Tom
forks
knives
spoons
plates

Thanks,

You should be able to adapt the ideas illustrated at http://www.tushar-
mehta.com/excel/newsgroups/dynamic_charts/index.html specifically
examples 4,5,6. WHile the data in those examples are column-based, the
formulas are easily converted to row-oriented data.
