automaitc update to 2007

out of nowhere my 2003 installed software updated to 2007 in a scheduled
microsoft update. now it wants the encryption key and all my work is in
compatibilty mode. what does this mean for access to my work if i haven't
bought the 2007 package?

How did it mysteriously update the Office 2003 to 2007

well 2007 is installed in trial version on my computer but i have never used
it and when i updated other microsoft stuff and restarted it suddenly it
would only open in 2007 compatibility mode. i have since been able to get
into 2003 again but at the time anything i opened the 2003 copy of trasferred
into 2007 compatibility mode

Your best solution would be to Uninstall the Office 2007 Trial along with the
Activation Wizard and uninstall Office 2003 also and all references to Office and
then re-install only Office 2003
