Hi:
I’m wondering if anyone can explain how to do the following.
I’m trying to set up a ‘paperless’ office, in which all documents
regarding clients are constructed within the office database (using
MSAccess2003), or are received via Fax or e-mail.
I’m wondering what is the best way to reference the ‘received’ files
within the database, so that they become part of the client files?
The faxed files, for example, are received as C:\Program Files\Winfax
\data\8147043.fxr in my Winfax app. I would like to direct this
document to :
C:\ProgramFiles\MSAccess\Db1.mdb\Client ID 1248, and would like to add
other identifiers.
The same would need doing with received e-mails
Does all of this have to be done manually, or is there some sensible
way of automating this process to provide the appropriate data links?
