Automate Publishing through Excel to Word

I have a report that ultimately must be in word. However, when I publish it
in word I lose some essential formatting. I can publish it to Excel and then
paste it from Excel into Word as a table and it keeps the format I want.

Is there some code I can use to have all that happen when my user pushes a
button???

I know, I want the moon and the stars.
