Automate the entry of correspondance records for mailouts

Hi,

I want to know if and/or how to allow a user to input multiple
correspondance records into a table for mass mailouts, etc so as to avoid
having to input a correspondance record for each of the 100's of people
contacted. If the mailout is going to everyone in a given state i want the
user to be able to filter these and then mass add correspondance records for
each.

All help appreciated.
