Automate the RBS with AD

Is there any way by which we can automatically populate the RBS from AD
without manually creating the one.

Pleassse suggest.

Are you looking to populate the user's RBS value using AD, populate the
RBS lookup table/outline code using AD, both, or neither?

Are you using 2007 or 2003?

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am looking for AD sync with RBS means the RBS
in PS 2007 should automatically pick the values from AD. So I am looking what
all modification would be required in AD so that I can give the hierarchy of
a person and when sync with PS 2007, it should automatically populate the RBS
against the user.

How is this possible? Please let me know.

You'd need to extend the AD schema to store an RBS value and then write
something to sync it into PS07, such as an event handler against one of
the Resource events.
