Automated Send & Receive

I use Win XP with Outlook 2000 installed on it, i cannot receive the email
automatically instead i have to click on send/receive to download all the
emails from the exchange?
Please advise how can i configure to receive the emails Automatically.

Is Outlook installed in Internet Mail Only mode or Corporate/Workgroup mode?
