Automated Series for X,Y point diagrams

Hi!
Hi

I'm trying to do a diagram with 100 x,y points, each with
their own name. I have the x, y and name values in
seperate columns, but I can't get Excel to recognize them
as indiviudal series - this gives me a lot of manual work
clicking on each cell to assign it to the appropriate
series.

Does anybody know of a an automatic (or more efficient)
way around this?

Hi Anders -

Do you need the name for a label on the point? Just make a single XY
series with 100 points, then use a third party utility to add labels
from the column of names. Here are two such utilities, free to download,
and easy to install and use:
