automated shutdown of Power Point presentation loop

Having created a rear projected Power Point presentation (continuous loop)
for a friends real estate biz, I'm stumped on how to accomplish an automated
shut down after everyone has gone home & there is no need to continue
advertising.

The projector will sense (and I can set time frame to accomplish cool down)
after
computer ceases to send signal, however...it seems that so long as PP is
active,
I'm unable to coax the computer to hibernate at specified time.

Boy do I feel brain damaged......
is there anyone out there that knows how to end the show??

You can use the Windows task schedule to both start and stop PowerPoint.
Look for it in the Control Panel. You should see a wizard that will do all
the set up work for you. At the end of the wizard, elect to set the
advanced options.

In these options you can set when the presentation (make it a *.pps) will
begin and how long it runs. (shutdown time) You may also set it up to wake
the machine from hibernation to start the presentaiton so the entire process
is automated.
