I'm using Visio 2002 Pro SP2, and not seeing the behavior I'm
expecting when using "Define Styles" to change the formatting of a
style that has already been applied to some existing shapes using the
format painter tool.
When I change some aspect of a style, those shapes which had the style
applied via the format painter tool do not update. However, all the
shapes for which I explicitly applied the style using the style drop
down do update! The style applied to all of the shapes in question is
definitely the same, and the "preserve local formatting" option for
the style is not checked. Has anyone seen this behavior before? I've
searched for this in the groups, and can't find any mention of it.
Thanks,
Scott
