Automatic backup of project server workspaces

What is the best way to automatically backup (or moving to archive site)
project and project workspaces that were ended some time ago (for example 12
month)?

In PWA I found only dayly backup and manual backup possibility. I think it
can be made through workflows but I can not understand what event I should
use.

This is a sharepoint feature. There are 3rd party product out there taht will
allow you to do so, or you could export the workspace via STSADM command
prompt. Project Server only takes care of the schedules not the workspaces
Hope this helps

Thanks for the answer!

I don't know how sharepoint can differ which project in which state is and I
don't know which option stsadm should use to recognize project status.

Can you suggest one of 3rd party tools and options of sharepoint to do this?

:) good question, unfortunalty SharePoint doesnt recognise this automatically
unless you do some custom dev. You can also manage this manually. I woulnd
assume that you archive many projects every day.
The Project Server and SharePoint world are still vastly different
technically, eventhough Project Server is a sharepoint application

Thanks for the answer!

You're right we don't archive many project every day. We only looked for the
feature that make it automatically.
