I know I have seen some requests for bookmark links in ON from within Word
documents. In other words, not just links to file, but "pasted from" style
links (like the ones created for web pages) to bookmarked spots in words
docs. It would be great to extend this to a way where a bookmark could be
created automatically in Word (when the text is dragged out into ON), and
that be the bookmark that is linked to. If the only thing that's done in ON
is a capability to link to existing bookmarks, you can imagine the speed of
use is greatly reduced, as a user then has to manually create a bookmark as
they are trying to parse out sections into their notes. If it's a matter of
being able to have ON and Word on a split screen and just dragging between
the two, with ON doing the work, that's a powerful efficiency tool.
Two more cents from someone who has probably already exceeded his dollar
limit of suggestions and requests on this board.
