I'm trying to talk about a unix command line.
If I type it as such "chattr +i filename",
It autocorrects the +i to a +I.

I have turned off capitalizing initial letters, it didn't help. I turned off a few other things related to capitals, it didn't help.

I just went through an systematically turned off every feature that suggests replacing or correcting anything, and it still does it.

This is literally preventing me from doing my job.

Thanks, that helped.

To those in the know, I consider there to be a vast difference between " i " and "+i ". "+" is not typically a sentence boundary like quotes, commas, brackets or the like. Autocorrect probably shouldn't fire after it or almost anything over the numbers on the keyboard (except () and ` and maybe * ).

But worse, my use of Word set up an expectation that I could backspace over the "correction", and the program would note that and not reapply the correction. That was the *really* frustrating thing.
