automatic completion doesn't work

Rinze Smit

Hi,
I've posted this before, but didn't get any answer. Is there really no
one who has got the answer? Please help.

we have an Exchange2003 environment with Office2003. I know the
autofill feature in Outlook. I know it uses the NK2 file. Everything
is working fine most of the time.

However.. we found out that there are some group-adresses in our
global adresslist that will not appear in the autofillfeature. I don't
think the fact that it's a mailgroup is the problem, because other
mailgroups appear perfectly in the autofill list. However we haven't
seen the problem with a 'normal' adress.

Can anyone help me with this?

Many thanks,

Note that it isn't an autocomplete feature but a suggest feature being fed
from a cache of addresses you've send messages to before. That is a
fundamental difference.

The developers at Ingressor have done the most work on how (and whether) the
NK2 file will record addresses correctly. I bet if you pinged them and could
send them your NK2 file to examine, they could figure something out.
Microsoft has done nothing to document or correct inconsistencies in NK2
files behavior. A lot have been reported.
