Automatic Date

I have a form that I put together and I created a field
for a date (mm/dd/yy). I would like the date to
automaticly appear when you go into the form and then when
you exit the for it logs the date and time the you exited
out of report. How can I do this?

Do you mean a *form* (for onscreen editing of data) or a *report* (for
printing)? What exactly do you want in this field: the date/time that
the person opened the Form? the date/time when they navigated to a
particular existing record? the date/time when a new record was
created? Do you want two different times - the time entered and the
time exited - or just one?
