Automatic deactivation of a project server account

Hello,

We have a user who's project server account seems to deactivate every couple
of days. Accounts are link to AD user accounts, and user does not have any
problems with his domain account. Is there something in project server to
control account status?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Andy,

Typically users are de-activated when the Active Directory
Synchronization process occurs and a user that was included an AD Group
in the original AD Sync has been removed from the AD Group.

Review the Project Server User properties and check if the "Clear User
AD GUID" is checked, if it is, then clear the check box. This check box
is only used if the user was added to Project Server via AD Sync.

Good Luck!

Hello and thank you for the reponse. However, we turned off AD Sync last
week thinking that was causing the problem.

Hi Andy,

When you say, "we turned off AD Sync last week" which one?
AD Sync with Project Server groups or Enterprise Resource Pool or both?

Still though, please check the Project Server user properties for the
user in question and find out if the "Clear User AD GUID" is checked.

Many thanks in advance,
