Hello,

I have been having an issue where Entourage seems to be automatically deleting items from the publics folders. It usually happens when a new folder is created and emails are moved. Do you have any suggestions. I have cleared the cache now and delete the schedule for delete items. Do you think there could be anything else.

Can you explain why you think this is Entourage or your machine that is
deleting items from the public folders and not someone else?

Are you adding any of your public folders to Subscribed Folders to keep
them synchronized with Entourage?

Hi Bill,

Sorry, been having trouble displaying the reply page.

Everytime a new folder within the public folder has been created. We move emails into it. I close down Entourage, and it displayed Deleting Items. I then go back into Entourage to see that the emails have been deleted.

I have not subscribed to the public folder yet.. but will try.

Interesting. This sounds like you have a Schedule that is deleting the
contents at Quit. Go to Tools --> Schedules... and look for "On quit"
under the Next Run column. Double-click any schedule set to run "On
quit" and check for a schedule to delete items.

Hope this helps!

The delete items does seem to appear even though the Delete schedule has been removed. I think this may have to be case for a re-install.
