Automatic Detection Tool

It was my understanding that Visio 2000 Professional might
have an auto detection tool of the network, to help draw
up ones network. I can't find anything under this and was
wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction,
whether it be viso, or another tool that might be useful.

if you have the enterprise version of visio 2000, there
was a VNE cdrom with the added functionality. if you have
primarily a cisco network there are some third party
tools. There is a LAN Surveyer product over at
www.neon.com and of course there is always www.fluke.com

That was the best feature me and many co-worker rely a lot
I wish we could have it back.

Yeah, I don't get it. I can't possibly imagine what would cause them to
pull this tool, especially after how hard the MSDN and Technet guys were
pushing it!
