Automatic E Mail Sending

When i compose e mail on the format in Word and then
select Send, it will not automatically bring up my dial
up connection and send the mail. Can you direct me??

What application are you using for email? Outlook Express? Outlook?

Additionally, what version of Word are you using and what patches have
been installed?
